Minnie Minoso made history in September 1976, when White Sox owner Bill Veeck, Jr., activated the great hitter. Veeck did it to let Minoso lay claim to competing in four decades. This feat was highlighted as part of the "Record Breaker" subset in the 1977 Topps set (card #232).
Because Minoso's last regular-player card came in the 1964 Topps set, I checklisted this Missing Card on #643, a checklist.
