I know you listed the 2 best catchers, but I'd replace Varitek with Bob Montgomery. JV is a legit star/starter. Montgomery was the ultimate backup (and a great candidate for the BCHOF (Backup Catcher Hall of Fame).
Duffy Lewis must be on this roster, certainly ahead of part timer Trot Nixon.
Reggie Smith over Harry Hooper & Fred Lynn sliding into the Starting Outfield category?
