1976 Topps Traded: The Missing Cards - #63 Bobby Darwin

In June 1976, the Red Sox traded its pinch-hit hero of the 1975 World Series, Bernie Carbo, to the Milwaukee Brewers. In exchange, Milwaukee sent Boston outfielder Bobby Darwin and pitcher Tom Murphy. Darwin wasn't spectacular for the Red Sox, hitting a combined .183 during his season and a half with the team.

July 23rd, 1990 - Milwaukee County Stadium
It’s the top of the 8th, and the Brewers are dominating the Red Sox. You missed the Brew Crew’s 13th run thanks to your fourth beer. As you exit the bathroom, you immediately notice something is wrong. The echoing din is not the normal root-root-rooting for the home team. You listen carefully, and after a moment it dawns on you, those aren’t cheers… they’re screams!
