The only purpose a checklist serves is to make you wonder what card you didn't get because of it's inclsuion in your pack.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04886503955676399289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20684429.post-89111167410245234242007-05-21T14:11:00.000-04:002007-05-21T14:11:00.000-04:00As player names go - no conversation would be comp...As player names go - no conversation would be complete without mentioning Rusty Kuntz. Check out his 1982 Topps card. He's standing there about to throw his John Hancock on a baseball for some kid who's going to run back up into the stands, waving it in the air yelling, "MOM LOOK! I GOT RUSTY KUNTZ!".CBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01207196602970691243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20684429.post-1168589139416571722007-01-12T03:05:00.000-05:002007-01-12T03:05:00.000-05:00On the subject of Joe Boever and Greg Maddux being...On the subject of Joe Boever and Greg Maddux being the same person, I used to think Chris Sabo and former NBA player Chris Mullin are the same person.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20684429.post-1148648891189729162006-05-26T09:08:00.000-04:002006-05-26T09:08:00.000-04:00Razor Shines was a very good AAA player for the In...Razor Shines was a very good AAA player for the Indianapolis Indians. Here goes...

Wait a minute, I can't explain Steve Jeltz. He's a mystery to me too.

But he did once hit two homeruns in a game against Pittsburgh, one from either side of the plate, at Veterans Stadium in 1989 to help the Phillies overcome a ten run Pirates first inning and win the game 15-11. That was the infamous game where Pirates broadcaster Jim rooker said if the Pirates lose, he would walk home to Pittsburgh. They lost, and at the end of the year, Jim Rooker organized a walk for charity where he walked from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh for 30 days. And it's all because of Steve Jeltz.

That's the best I can do. I also own a game used Steve Jeltz bat in my collection because it was one of the cheaper bats. Don't ask me why.The Revhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04573551553863558468noreply@blogger.com
